Meet Alex, a Toxin-Free Blogger

When I first started creating content for my blog, I was completely clueless as to how the process of blogging worked, how to create content for my own blog, and the biggest shock of all was realizing how much work goes into it. The only thing I knew for sure was what I wanted my niche to be, I wanted to focus on healthy, natural living. I knew choosing this topic to blog about would force me to take my partially healthy lifestyle and develop it much further, I consider it a learning opportunity. Clearly I have so much to learn as a blogger as I’ve only been blogging for a couple short months. Despite that, I am constantly learning. Fortunately, I was able to get in contact with one of my inspirations in the blogging world. Alex, creator of Bigger Better Days allowed me to interview her and ask some of my biggest questions as a new blogger.

Alex’s blog is focused on toxin free and zero waste living. She began working on her blog in February of 2019 but didn’t really start pushing her content to the public eye until about June. She has grown her following on Instagram to 1.1K in this short amount of time. She describes her blogging style as “thorough, to the point, and with a little bit of sarcasm,” which she says is very true to her personality.

One of the biggest things I have wondered about successful bloggers is how they are inspired and who inspires them. Alex says, “since becoming so much more fascinated with the eco friendly world I’m so inspired by other bloggers in the zero waste niche who live a toxin free life.” I personally am trying to follow a similar path by following bloggers who share the same thoughts on living a more natural lifestyle. When I asked her if she was raised living a toxin free life she said she “grew up eating a lot of boxed Kraft mac and cheese just like so many others.” She also mentioned that there was a lot less information about the negative effects of products and food we were using and consuming. This is proof that no matter where you are now and what type of lifestyle you are living, it’s never too late to change and become a healthier version of yourself.

To finish up this post, I would like to thank Alex for taking time out of her busy schedule to answer these questions for me. I linked her social media profiles below, she has a great platform that is continuously growing and it has so much beneficial information for anyone aspiring to live a toxin free lifesyle. Make sure to give her a follow!
